A botox facial is a mixture of medications and ingredients personalized to your skin, including Botox, to treat many different issues. Vitamin C, vitamin E and PRP can be added to the formula, as well as dermal fillers which help with acne scarring and can add plumpness to your skin. Similar to a microneedling treatment, a botox facial uses a cluster of thin, hollow needles to penetrate a fraction of a millimeter into the skin to inject the medication and ingredients. These small needles help the skin to absorb the customized solution into the skin right where it is needed. Most patients see a lasting effect of 1-3 months.

The treatment itself uses very fine, hollow needles that just enter a fraction of a millimeter into your skin, leaving no marks and has minimal discomfort. There is minimal downtime required with a botox facial. Your face will have some mild redness for 1 to 2 hours after your treatment. It is recommended that you avoid exercise, heat, tanning, and sleeping for up to 4 hours after your treatment to allow the solution to penetrate your skin evenly. Within a few hours, your skin will have an airbrushed appearance without having to worry about putting on makeup.
