Microneedling became popular under the name Vampire Facial or Vampire GLOW. A microneedling treatment uses small needles to create controlled and safe micro-injuries on the skin. When these micro-injuries occur on the skin the body rushes to heal itself with stronger, more healthy cells. This promotes the production of collagen and elastin in the skin.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Microneedling uses your own blood for platelet collection which contains growth factors that help to boost tissue regeneration. PRP microneedling has proven very beneficial for damaged, aging skin to promote the production of collagen and elastin to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, and is effective for the removal of age spots. PRP penetrates your skin through the small channels which are created by the microneedling, which boosts the effectiveness of the microneedling treatment. The treatment can also be done with Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance in the body. When used with microneedling, HA will provide an instant plump to the skin, locking in moisture and delivering luxurious hydration.

If you are sensitive, numbing gel can be applied and will extend your visit by 30 minutes but is not required. Blood will be drawn from your arm and then centrifuged to separate the plasma from the red and white blood cells. The plasma is what is needed for the treatment, as plasma contains a high concentration of platelets that stimulate collagen production and tissue regeneration for newer healthier skin.

The process will feel similar to sandpaper on your skin. We also offer a post-procedure kit for after treatment to aid in the recovery.
Immediately after your appointment, you will notice redness and mild swelling. The downtime for your microneedling appointment is minimal. You’ll notice redness on your skin for 1-3 days. Some dryness and a sandpaper texture is also expected for approximately 1 week.
You’ll also notice an immediate brightness of your skin, giving your complexion a more illuminated look. Over the following few weeks, you will continue to see a glow in your skin. For the fullest results, we recommend at least 3 treatments spaced 1 month apart. After the first round of treatments is completed, one treatment per year will maintain the results.
Because PRP stimulates your own bodies natural collagen production, you begin to see the effects of the first treatment in 4-6 weeks and full results after your 3 sessions between 3-6 months. These results continue to build and can last for 1-2 years.
